Chemical peels remove surface skin cells to stimulate skin renewal, improve the appearance of the skin, and create an immediate difference in skin texture. The procedures are fast and convenient, taking only about twenty minutes -- with no significant pain, no need for anesthesia, and very short recovery time.

Chemical peel treatments are relatively inexpensive, and several varieties of peels are available at our office. The substances used in these procedures result in an effective, predictable, safe peel, and each can be administered in a range of concentrations, depending on the condition we are treating. In conjunction with a home care regimen, these peels can reduce skin imperfections such as fine lines, wrinkles, and pigmentation irregularities.

For rejuvenation and relatively fine lines, we offer traditional Glycolic Acid peels as well as mild implementations of TCA Peels (utilizing tricholoroacetic acid).

We also offer the Vitalize Peel, a new-generation formula incorporating alpha-hydroxy acids, beta-hydroxy acids, resorcinol, and retinoic acid. The Vitalize Peel is especially effective for acne scars and to correct sun-damaged, pigmented spots. Results of these peels are noticeable after only one treatment, and can be quite dramatic after several treatments. Here's an example of what can be achieved:

Peels can be combined with other cosmetic procedures, such as Intense Pulsed Light or Microdermabrasion, to achieve optimum results.
